MAY 2021 ASTRO UPDATE

May unfolds into a manic month with the pace picking up in a madcap manner as several planets transit into Gemini. It feels as if we're all racing to the end of the month finish line. Astrologically, we are hitting celestial showstoppers as May fades including: Saturn turning retrograde on May 23, followed by a Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse on May 26th and then Mercury retrograde cycle begins on May 29th. 

Some bright spots this month are planets, Mercury, Venus and Sun, transiting genial Gemini, making for gregarious and convivial conversations. Soothing and seductive Taurus New Moon moves in on May 11th and Giant Jupiter returns to his Pisces palace on May 13. .

New Moon occurs at 22 degrees Taurus on 5/11. According to the Sabian Symbol system of archetypal descriptions of the 360 degrees of the Zodiac, 22 degrees Taurus means: "WHITE DOVE FLYING OVER TROUBLED WATERS." The Keynote is: "The spiritual inspiration that comes to the individual in the overcoming of crisis." Worldwide the are continual ongoing crisis situations, due to the Pandemic, especially the surge in India, various vaccine agendas, political conflicts, and more. The peaceful presence of the White Dove in this Sabian Symbol offers inspiration from spiritual sources in our collective calamity. Connecting with our Soul powers and aligning with Higher Self provide protection and offer revivification and recrudescense through precarious periods.

Jovial Jupiter enters esoteric home sign of Pisces two days after the New Moon, expanding on this theme of connecting to spiritual source to stay centered and brings in compassion for suffering of self and others. Jupiter shifts us from the head to the heart, going from mental airy Aquarius, to watery soulful Pisces. Priorities will change personally and collectively while Jupiter transits Pisces from May 13, 2021-July 28, 2021, and then again December 2021-May 2022 and wraps up the third leg of his heart felt tour from October 28-December 20, 2022.
